Nine canine deaths at two Pennsylvania SPCAs are from an infection
called “Strep Zoo” and not the “Canine Flu” as originally suspected.
“Strep Zoo” is treatable with Penicillin. The PSPCA is working
to eliminate the bacteria in affected shelters.
