FC Top Gun Skyy Is The Limit

John and Rhonda Haight’s ‘Skyy’ attained his Field Trial Champion title this spring by winning the Open at the Professiona Retriever Trainer’s Club Spring Trial at Fox Hollow South in Americus, GA, the first weekend in April with Andy Attar as handler. John and Rhonda live in Hales Corners, WI.

Skyy’s sire is FC Top Gun Able Oakely, the 1996 National Derby Champion, also owned by John. Skyy’s dam is Xena Warrior Of Salem SH. Xena placed in several AKC Derby and Qualifying events winning several, as well as qualified at UKC finished and seasoned fun hunts. She nearly lost her life when a boat capsized on a November day duck hunting trip on the Mississippi river. The thing people will always remember about her is her blinding speed. She owned the fastest retrieve at the West Allis Training Kennel Club jamboree until she turned nine years old. Xena is owned, trained and handled by WATKC member Rick Spoerl.
