Scott and Drake

Congratulations to Marie and Scott Spalding of Waitsburg, WA, on their new FC! FC Way-Da-Go Call of the Wild earned his Field Champion title the end of May by winning the Open at the Shasta Cascade Retriever Club Trial in Klamath Falls, OR. Drake also won the Open at the Sacremento Valley Retriever Club Trial this spring which qualified Drake for the 2009 National Open Retriever Championship. He now has a total of 10.5 Open points already for the year and becomes one of the few Chocolate FC’s competing today!

Drake was sired by FC AFC Cuda’s Blue Ryder MH who is the second Chocolate in history to obtain three AKC titles, the first Chocolate National Amateur Finalist, and the first and only Chocolate to win a double header. He is owned by Kathryn and Charles Tyson of SilverCreek Kennels in Davis, CA. Drakes dam is Terri Veach’s, Way-Da-Go Answered Prayer. Drake is trained by John Henninger and Amy Duke.
