Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue of Sioux City, Iowa, is caring for Charlie the chocolate Lab who was found in November with severely broken front legs. Volunteers at Noah’s Hope believe Charlie is the victim of animal abuse and received his injuries when he was thrown from a bridge in Sioux City, Iowa. Charlie’s legs were both fractured in the fall, and Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue of Sioux City, Iowa, is caring for him and raising money to pay for his surgery.

Sioux Falls veterinarian Matt Stork performed the surgery to repair Charlie’s legs on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Dr. Stork said that the surgery went well and expects Charlie to fully recover. Charlie has been recovering at All City Pet Care West in Sioux Falls, SD, and will be leaving soon to a foster home where he will continue his recovery.
