FC AFC Gimme Five More

Dr. J.M. (Mac) and Lynne DuBose have been a regular sight on the field trial circuit for many years and have been very successful on the National level with many fine dogs and several National Champions. Below is a list of their National accomplishments as best we can tell so far:

Quite an impressive record and this recent National Open is no exception with another National Open Finalist, FC AFC Gimme Five More (Roz), handled by Mac. Roz just happens to be out of two of their own National Finalists and National Champion, FC-AFC Tiger McBunn and 2002 NFC-AFC Zinger. Her early training was done by Jim Van Engen. Marking and watching intently came naturally. Roz made the derby list and won a qualifying trial the same day. In spite of time out for a double lumbar disc surgery at age 3 ½ she recovered to win a double header at age 4 years. Her adult training has been at Handjem supervised by Mike Lardy, Ray Voigt and Pat Burns.

Mac said, “I wish all my dogs would sit so still and watch each bird so intently — she was a joy to run in the ’09 Nat’l Open.” Seems like he’s had a few!
