FC Magic

FindRetrievers would like to ‘FEATURE’ another very special dog owned by Gretchen and Joseph Augustyn. FC World Famous Magical Mischief, or Magic, was a National Open Finalist this year handled by Bill Sargenti. Magic has an Open win this spring at the Northern California trial, an Open 2nd at Lassen Retriever Club, and an Open fourth at the fall California South Coast RC giving him a total of 8.5 Open points this year. His lifetime point total is 86.5 Open points and 7.5 Amateur points.

FC Magic is out of the 2 time NAFC CNAFC FC Ebonstar Lean Mac and AFC Dyna Buck and was whelped Dec. 15, 2000. The Augustyns bought Magic when he was 4 years old from Ryan Gelardi when his father Sal passed away. Sal Gelardi raised and trained Magic until that point.

They then sent Magic to Bill Sargenti who has very successfully trained and handled him. Joe has handled Magic also but health problems have kept him from the trials this year. Gretchen and Joe were thrilled with Magic’s success and contribute Bill’s dedication to Magic’s many achievements.

The Augustyns would like to thank Billy, his training group , the pre-national training group as well as Hank McNeil and Bill Thompson for the pre-National training grounds and help. They also, thank everyone involved in putting on the National, the judges, the many workers, and the landowners.
