Researchers found that dogs can detect signs of prostate cancer in humans by sniffing out their urine. In their study, researchers placed urine samples in front of a Belgian Malinois shepherd and found that the dog was able to classify most of the urine samples into those from men with prostate cancer and from men without. The findings could lead to the development of advanced cancer-sensing technology, the study’s lead author said.
